The Darkness Growing Within

Fear of the darkness growing inside of me,
There is no escape for me,
The ones that I care about, I must push them away for if they try to help me,
Disaster will be the only result,
My fate is horror,
I am doomed for all eternity!
It waits for the day when it can break free and come out,
It waits till it can take over your mind,
You can't restrain it,
It is the fear within,
It is the fear of the darkness,
It is the fear!
It calls to me,
Whispering,
Wanting,
Waiting
And it leaves me,
Wishing,
Hoping,
Praying,
But in the end,
I know it will be my demise!
